Sabbath Reflection
Lunation 6 • Day 29 • No Visible Moon
Sunset Sep 9th to Sunset Sep 10th, 2026
As the light of this lunation disappears from our sight, we have entered Yahuah’s appointed Sabbath rest. The heavens themselves declare the rhythm.
There is something profoundly beautiful about the No Visible Moon Sabbath.
The moon has not ceased to exist simply because we cannot see it. It remains exactly where Yahuah appointed it, moving according to the order He established from the beginning.
And so it is with us.
There are seasons when we can clearly see what Yahuah is doing, when the evidence of His movement seems to be right before our eyes. Then there are seasons when we cannot see what He is doing at all.
Yet, what is unseen has not ceased to be.
“He appointed the moon for seasons…” (Psalm 104:19)
That is a lesson written into the heavens.
The darkness is not the end. It is the appointed pause before new light appears.
The No Visible Moon does not announce that the moon is gone. Rather, it tells the patient observer to watch. Something appointed is continuing beyond what the eye can presently perceive.
How often is that also true in our own lives?
We pray, plant, labor, obey, and wait. Sometimes we see increase immediately. Sometimes we see only darkness where we expected light. Yet Yahuah is not constrained by our ability to perceive what He is doing.
There are things already in motion that we cannot yet see.
And Sabbath teaches us what to do in that space:
REST.
Not because nothing is happening, but because everything does not depend upon us.
So on this No Visible Moon Sabbath, we cease from our labor, rest in Yahuah, and trust what He has ordained even when our eyes cannot yet perceive it.
But this particular Sabbath carries an expectancy of its own.
We are watching for the next light.
For when the New Moon appears, the trumpet sounds!
Yet, this is not merely the next New Moon, but the New Moon Yahuah Himself set apart as His appointed Feast of Trumpets, LUNATION 7 • DAY 1!
“In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets…”
Leviticus 23:24
“In the seventh month, on the first day of the month… it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.”
Numbers 29:1
And so an extraordinary appointed progression now stands before us:
New Moon → Feast of Trumpets → Day of Atonement → Feast of Tabernacles
Yahuah’s Seventh Lunation is before us.
Today, we REST.
Then we WATCH.
And when the light appears, we SOUND THE TRUMPET!
“Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.”
Psalm 81:3
There is something worth carrying with us from this No Visible Moon Sabbath:
Do not mistake what you cannot see for what does not exist.
The moon remains.
Yahuah’s order remains.
His appointed times remain.
His Word remains.
And whatever He has sovereignly ordained does not require our ability to see it in order for it to be moving toward its appointed manifestation.
So we rest without anxiety.
We watch with expectancy.
And we await the next light.
A Grateful SIP™
As you enter this Sabbath rest, take a moment with your cup and become still before Yahuah.
Supplication:
Father Yahuah, teach me to rest without demanding that You show me what comes next.
Intercession:
Remember those who are walking through seasons in which they cannot yet see what has been appointed. Pray that their confidence will remain anchored in Yahuah rather than in visible circumstances.
Praise:
Praise Yahuah because His Word is sure, His order is established, and His works are finished.
Then sit quietly.
You do not have to fill the silence.
You do not have to solve tomorrow.
You do not have to see the moon to know that Yahuah’s appointed order remains.
And when you have rested, watch.
For the darkness is not the end. The next light will appear in its appointed time.
Rest.
Sabbath Reflection
As this lunation draws toward its close, consider:
What have I been trying to see before its appointed time?
Can I rest even when Yahuah has not given me visibility into what comes next?
Am I measuring what is true by what I can presently see, or by what Yahuah has spoken?
This Sabbath, may we be grateful for what has been. May we release what has ended. May we cease striving to see what has not yet been revealed. And may we rest confidently in Yahuah, knowing that what we cannot yet see has not escaped His appointed order.
May this Sabbath bring you renewed peace, clarity, and joy as you walk in Yahuah’s appointed rhythm. In the mighty name of Yeshuah the Christ we pray! Amen!
